About Us

Louisville is suffering from a wide-spread housing crisis informed by a shortage of affordable rental units and exacerbated by high inflation and rent increases. Locating and securing appropriate, available housing for families in crisis remains a major hurdle for maintaining housing stability and helping families avoid homelessness. And while a wide variety of community service providers work to help their clients secure and/or maintain housing, few have the necessary supporting resources or specific training to support those efforts. In addition, existing efforts lack necessary coordination. As a result, there is a huge housing navigation service gap in our community.

The FindHousing502 website was envisioned by

• South Louisville COmmunity Ministries (SLCM)
• The Association of Community Ministries (ACM)
• The Neighbor Network (NN)
• The Louisville Eviction Prevention Working Group (LEPWG)

In October 2023, Dr. Joseph Twagiligimana and his daughter, Celine Mutuyemariya were awarded a grant from the Association of Community Ministries to develop a tool/resource to support housing navigation efforts in Louisville which is how the FindHousing502 website was born.

The FindHousing502 website is owned and managed by the Association of Community Ministries/South Louisville Community Ministries and the Site Manager is _________________.
